Warranty Policy

  • This limited warranty shall apply to the TIRON range of products. For accessory defects under normal use circumstances and at the discretion of the company, TIRON shall provide free of charge repair and/or replacement services within the warranty period of ONE Year.

    Territory
  • 1.1 This warranty is valid only in India and for products purchased in India, and the product is not eligible for any international warranty service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, warranty service may only be performed by TIRON or TIRON authorized service centres.
    Application
  • 2.1 Warranty applies on:

    -Manufacturing defects in materials of the product. This warranty applies when the product is used as per the descriptions given in the manual and for the purpose for which the product was designed. All replaced parts are owned by TIRON.

    2.2 This warranty does not cover the following cases:

    - Warranty Tamper sticker has been removed, defaced, tampered or damaged.

    - Warranty card is not available with the customer or has been tampered, defaced or damaged by the customer.

    - Warranty is not covered if any accessory or external part of the product is missing.

    - Warranty is not covered for any unauthorised repairs or modifications by the customers or any other person other than TIRON’s authorised representatives.

    - Warranty does not cover situations wherein the product is damaged due to Voltage fluctuations, ⁠Short circuit in the electrical wiring, product being exposed or being dipped in water, used in extreme environment including high temperatures, moisture and humidity, used in excessive dirt area and in debris, improper use of charger, use on non-genuine or third-party accessories, chargers, batteries or parts, improper installation and care (accident, misuse or negligence), force majeure (damage caused by acts of god such as floods, fires or earthquakes.

    - Warranty does not cover damage or repair due to natural wear and tear.

    - The product is not covered under warranty if it becomes damaged due to contact with chemical agents, water, sharp objects, improper handling, accident, abuse, or under abnormal use or conditions such as dipping in water.

    - Deterioration of the product caused by normal wearing and tearing, including but not limited to rust or stains are not covered in the warranty.

    - Power Adaptor/ Consumables are not covered under warranty

    - Any other circumstances that are contradictory or do not comply with business ethics.
    Determination and Verification
  • 3.1 TIRON will determine whether a product is "Out of Warranty" at its discretion according to the standards listed below. Repair of "Out of Warranty" products shall be separately quoted by the TIRON service centre and respective service shall be provided upon service fee payment.

    - Violations against warranty, including but not limited to customer induced damage, such as self-repairs, exposure to water, damage caused by misuse, failure to comply with product manual, and so on.

    - Invalid warranty

    - Expired warranty

    3.2 TIRON reserves the right to conduct diagnostic tests or any inspection on customer’s product to identify the causes of failures/defects.

    3.3 Only in the case of a manufacturing defect being certified by the authorised service centre, will the 15 days’ replacement policy apply. For all products whether purchased online (i.e. through tironworld.com) or purchased offline (i.e. through franchisee stores), the customer may find out the details of the nearest Authorised Service Centre from the Customer Care helpline for the purpose of getting the manufacturing defect certified.
  • Transferable
  • 4.1 Warranty is limited to the first purchaser of this product and can be transferrable within the warranty period upon request. However, Purchase invoice with corresponding model and serial number of the unit must be presented to claim warranty.
    Term of Warranty
  • 5.1 The warranty period shall be applicable for a period of one year from the date of installation or 15 days from the date of invoice, whichever is earlier.

    5.2 The time taken for repair/replacement and in transit whether under the warranty or otherwise shall not be excluded from the warranty period.

  • Service Conditions
  • 6.1 TIRON’s obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repairing or providing replacement of part/s, which are found to be defective.

    6.2 Free Installation or demonstration of the product, can be availed only once & within 15 days from the date of invoice.

    The customer can also avail one free additional visits by the service team towards installation and demo of the product within the warranty period. The customer is also eligible for 1 free service visit by the service team during the warranty period.

    6.3 In the instance of a potential repair, the customer care team along with the Service team will advise the customer whether to effect the repair at site or at its Service Centre.

    6.4 In instances where the repair or replacement will be carried out at the Authorized Service Centre, details of the Authorised Service Centre will be shared with the customer over the customer care toll free number.

    6.5 To avail repair services, the customer can carry the product into the authorised service centre, regardless of whether the repair is being offered in warranty or not.

    6.6 In the event of any unforeseen circumstances like the spares not being available, TIRON’s prevailing depreciation rules should be accepted as a commercial solution by the purchaser in lieu of repairs.
    Parts or Components replaced
  • 7.1 TIRON or its Authorized Service Centre, reserves the right to retain any part/s or component/s replaced at its discretion in the event of a defect noticed in the equipment during the warranty period.

    7.2 In instances of a defective accessory, only the accessory will be repaired or replaced.

    7.3 Any part/s of the system replaced by TIRON at its discretion shall be with a functionally operative part.

    7.4 While carrying out repair while the product is still under warranty, TIRON may use accessories or parts that are new or refurbished or reconditioned.

  • Service/ Repair Charges
  • 8.1 In the event that the customer has availed service within the warranty period and the product is found free from damage or malfunction upon inspection, the customer shall have to pay a visiting charge towards inspection.

    8.2 In the event that physical damage that is not covered under the warranty policy as hereunder, the product shall be repaired by the concerned service Centre on chargeable basis.

    8.3 In instances where the service visit has been done for the purposes of an issue arising out of consumables, the customer shall have to pay a visiting charge towards inspection.

    8.4 In instances of service requests during warranty period after the guaranteed 1 service visits and for requests not covered under warranty post the 1 free visit, requisite service and repair charges will be applicable. In case the customer wants to escalate an issue of over-pricing or unnecessary billing by TIRON’s service engineers, the customer is requested to contact the customer care whose details are given below.

    8.5 TIRON’s obligation under the warranty shall be limited to repair / providing replacement of parts only. The maximum claim /s if entertained by TIRON will be subject to the maximum retail price of the product purchased or the purchase price, whichever is lower.
    Limitation of Liability
  • 9.1 Except as otherwise stated and applicable in other policies, the liability of TIRON will be strictly limited to the value of the product and the service rendered as per this policy. Except for manufacturing defects, in no event shall TIRON be liable to the customer or any other person for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including any loss of property, personal injury, death, by use or operation of our Products. No claim shall be entertained by the TIRON for any loss arising out of damage or shortage of Products not at the fault of the TIRON and any such loss arising out of the fault of TIRON will be determined as per this policy.

  • Modifications
  • 10.1 We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website. Please review this Policy periodically for updates.

    10.2 The version of the policy effective during the time of purchase of the product will be applicable to that product.
